Chef Lillian Carter

In 2003,  after 25 years , Chief  Lillian Carter retired from the stressful high-profiled position of Deputy Chief of the Emergency Medical Services of the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department. She traded in her formal uniform and badge for a women’s contemporary chef coat and chef hat.  She began to follow her other life-long passion which is preparing delicious food with                 "a spirit of excellence."

Chef Carter is a Licensed Personal Chef and a member of the American Personal Chef Association. She is also a National Certified Professional Food Manager. From experience, she knows how important it is to make healthy food choices.

The decisions you make about food affects how you feel today and how well you will live tomorrow. She knows what it’s like to purchase groceries and then have to throw them in the garbage because you just did not have the time to cook. Your intentions were good but, your time was too limited. Lillian had you in mind when she changed professions. She wants to be your personal chef and provide you with great tasting food and the precious gift of time.

She has a convenient and affordable answer to the age old question.
